Starting your Rehabilitation BEFORE your dogs surgery
Pre-hab
Did you know that many orthopaedic conditions don't necessarily need complete exercise restriction prior to surgery or other treatments? Not only can you do appropriate activities, you have an opportunity to start your rehab BEFORE your dogs surgery. There's numerous benefits to this, including maintaining or improving muscle mass and symmetry, maintaining range of motion, and very importantly teaching essential skills that can make your dogs rehabilitation post surgery more effective.

Shoulder Pre-hab
Injuries and conditions that affect the shoulder that are common in dogs include; OCD, medial shoulder instability, soft tissues to the biceps, and supraspinatus muscle or tendons.

This Pre-hab course focusses on holistic preparation for surgery and other treatments for shoulder conditions with the goal of gaining and maintatining muscle, and teaching the dog skills that will be required post treatment in rehabilitation.
